Viltiligo is a disease that causes loss of skin colour is blotches which can affect any part of body skin and is also affect in hair loss and inside mouth also. usually the color of skin is determind by the melanin. and the disease vitiligo occurs when the melanin producing cells stop functioning which can be easily identified in dark skin color.

Sign Of Vitiligo:

  • The only symptom of vitiligo is the appearance of flat white spots or patches on the skin. The first white spot that becomes noticeable is often in an area that tends to be exposed to the sun.

Causes Of Vitiligo:

Vitiligo occurs when pigment-producing cells (melanocytes) die or stop producing melanin — the pigment that gives your skin, hair and eyes color. The involved patches of skin become lighter or white and the reason for this cell die is not completely known. so it may be

  • An autoimmune disorder, in which the immune system becomes overactive and destroys the melanocytes
  • Heredity - Its g genetic heredity disease which passes from one generation to other like if the parents are involved with such contacts but the symptoms were not observed can be seen in the progeny.
  • A trigger event, such as sunburn, stress or exposure to industrial chemicals— The condition is photosensitive. This means that the areas that are affected will be more sensitive to sunlight.
